Our club is a 70 member USA year round competitive swim team open to everyone. We currently have swimmers from 4 states who proudly call themselves Mariners. We offer high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor, no one is excluded. The Mariners offer scholarships for those who may have a need in collaboration with the Midwestern swimming committee.
The MARINERS are the 3 time defending Tristate champions (2009,2010,2011) who routinely contribute multiple swimmers to the LSC allstar team and Zone team. Mariner swimmers are consistent point scorers at the Zone level as well as state and allstar meets. Currently we have several State champions and Zone champions.
All of our coaches, as members of the American Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.
The Mariners Swim Club, a non profit club, is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets quarterly. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
