RED
these
meets are for our newer swimmers and those who are getting some
times to measure where they are at in the season. Primarily Novice
and S2 swimmers, but our more experienced swimmers should consider
1 or 2 of these meets as well
Green
these meets
should be considered by most of our swimmers, Novice and S2 should
select 1 or 2 of these meets to attend to get a feel for the next
level. Experienced S2, S1 and Gold swimmers should be swimming some
of these meets.
Blue These
meets are for our more experienced swimmers, many of them have high
levels of qualifying times, S1 swimmers should consider swimming in
1 or 2 of these should they qualify.
As you can see there are
plenty of meets to choose from. As a reminder it is my philosophy
that a swimmer should not do more than 2 meets a month and should
swim events about once a month, this allows time to make the
changes necessary with technique and conditioning . This then
helps the kids understand the process of preparation and they are
not constantly exposed to frustration from swimming the same events
each week and seeing no or little improvement. As our website comes
up (soon!!!) we will transfer all of this to a 1 stop easy entry
system.
